Location: Nigeria is located in West Africa, along the Gulf of Guinea. It is bordered by Benin to the west, Niger to the north, Chad to the northeast, and Cameroon to the east. To the south, it is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean.

 

Size: Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa and is also the seventh-largest country in the world by land area. Its total land area is approximately 923,768 square kilometers (356,669 square miles).

Latitudes and Longitudes: Nigeria spans a wide range of latitudes and longitudes. The latitude of Nigeria ranges from about 4°N in the southernmost point to 14°N in the north. The longitude varies from around 3°E in the west to 14°E in the east.

 

Boundaries and Neighbors: Nigeria shares land borders with several countries. To the west, it borders Benin, to the north, it shares borders with Niger and Chad, and to the east, it borders Cameroon. Its southern coastline faces the Atlantic Ocean.
