Magnetic poles - JSS3 Basic science Lesson Note

Magnetic poles are the points on a magnet where its magnetic force is strongest. There are two types: north and south poles. Opposite poles attract each other, while similar poles repel.

The magnetic field is the region around a magnet where its force can affect other objects. It's like an invisible force field that exerts a push or pull on magnetic materials like iron, nickel, and cobalt.
