Meaning of kinetic energy - JSS2 Basic science Lesson Note

Kinetic energy is the energy of motion. When an object moves, it possesses kinetic energy, which depends on its mass and velocity. The formula for kinetic energy is KE = 0.5 * mass * velocity^2. In simpler terms, the faster something moves or the heavier it is, the more kinetic energy it has.
