Meaning of Living Things - JSS1 Basic science Lesson Note

Living things are organisms that display biological processes such as growth, reproduction, response to stimuli, and metabolism. They are composed of cells, require energy for sustenance, and have the ability to adapt to their environment. Non-living things, on the other hand, lack these characteristics. They do not grow, reproduce, or respond to stimuli. Examples include rocks, water, and air.
