A narrative essay is a type of writing that tells a story from the author's point of view. It's like storytelling but in written form. In this type of essay, you, as the author, recount a personal experience or event, usually in chronological order. The goal is to engage the reader by creating a vivid picture of the events and evoking emotions. Past tense is usually used in this type of essay. 
An example of a narrative essay outlined below eventful experience. 
Introduction:
   - Introduce the topic of your narrative essay: a frightening event experience.
   - Provide some background information or context to set the scene.
Body Paragraphs:
   - Describe the setting: Where and when did the frightening event take place?
   - Introduce the characters involved: Who were you with? What were their roles in the event?
   - Build up tension: Describe the events leading up to the frightening moment.
   - Climax: Describe the frightening event itself in detail. What happened? How did you feel?
   - Aftermath: Describe the immediate aftermath of the event. How did you and others react? Were there any consequences?
   - Reflection: Reflect on the experience. What did you learn from it? How did it impact you?
Conclusion:
   - Summarize the main points of your narrative essay.
   - End with a thought-provoking statement or reflection related to the frightening event.
