Intonation is the rise and fall of the voice when speaking. It is used to convey meaning and emotion.
Types of intonation:
There are three main types of intonation:

Falling intonation is used to indicate a statement or command.
Rising intonation is used to indicate a question.
Fall-rise intonation is used to indicate uncertainty or hesitation.
Wh-questions are questions that start with a wh-word, such as who, what, when, where, why, or how. Wh-questions are typically asked with a rising intonation. For example: Who are you? What is your name? When did you arrive?
