Parts of the computer keyboard - JSS1 Business studies Lesson Note

Alphanumeric keys: These are the main keys consisting of letters, numbers, and special characters.

Function keys: Located at the top row, these keys perform various functions depending on the software being used.

Modifier keys: Including Shift, Ctrl, Alt, and sometimes others, these keys modify the functions of other keys when pressed in combination.

Navigation keys: Such as the arrow keys, Home, End, Page Up, and Page Down, they help navigate through documents or interfaces.

Numeric keypad: Usually on the right side of the keyboard, it contains numbers and arithmetic operations for easier data entry.

Special keys: Like Enter, Backspace, Delete, Caps Lock, Tab, and Esc, they serve specific functions.
