- Design Planning: Sketching out the design and selecting appropriate materials.
- Surface Preparation: Cleaning and priming the surface to ensure proper adhesion.
- Cutting Tesserae: Using tools to cut tesserae into desired shapes and sizes.
- Arranging Tesserae: Placing tesserae according to the design, often starting from the center and working outwards.
- Adhering Tesserae: Using adhesive to attach tesserae to the surface, ensuring proper spacing.
- Grouting: Applying grout to fill the gaps between tesserae and wiping away excess.
- Cleaning and Sealing: Removing grout residue and sealing the mosaic to protect it from moisture and dirt.
