Reflection - JSS2 Basic science Lesson Note
Reflection is when light bounces off a surface. It is like looking at yourself in a mirror. When light hits a surface, it can either be absorbed, transmitted through the material, or reflected. Reflection obeys the law of reflection, which states that the angle of incidence (incoming light) is equal to the angle of reflection (outgoing light). This phenomenon is used in mirrors, where the smooth surface allows for clear reflection, and in various optical devices like telescopes and periscopes.
