Road Junctions - JSS1 Civic education Lesson Note

Road junctions are points where different roads intersect. Common types include:

  1. T-Junction: Three arms meeting at a single point, forming a "T" shape.

  2. Crossroads: Two roads crossing each other at right angles.

  3. Roundabout: Circular intersection where traffic moves in one direction around a central island.

  4. Y-Junction: Three arms meeting, forming a "Y" shape.

  5. Traffic Interchange: Complex junctions where multiple roads intersect with ramps and bridges.
