Advantages:

   - Enhances soil structure, providing a conducive environment for root development.

   - Improves seed-to-soil contact, promoting germination.

Disadvantages:

   - Over-tilling can lead to soil compaction and erosion.

   - Inadequate preparation may result in poor seed emergence.

Methods: Techniques for seedbed preparation include ploughing, harrowing, and levelling to create a well-aerated, loose, and weed-free planting surface.
