Time Zones - SS1 Geography Lesson Note

Earth is divided into multiple time zones, each with its own standard time.

Time zones are usually defined by their offset from GMT or UTC. For example, GMT+2 means the time is two hours ahead of GMT.

Time zones are established to help coordinate activities and schedules across the world while accounting for the Earth's rotation.
