An expository essay is all about clarifying a topic. It aims to break down information in a clear, logical, and objective way. Think of it as a knowledgeable guide explaining something interesting!

• Goal: Explain a concept or process factually.
• Focus: Facts and details, not personal opinions or emotions.
• Style: Straightforward and easy to understand.

Hints on writing an  Expository Essay:

• Look for prompts with "explain" or "define." For example, "Explain how photosynthesis works in plants."
• Structure: Organize your essay logically, often using a clear introduction, body paragraphs with supporting evidence (facts, statistics, examples), and a concluding summary.
