Vegetation - SS1 Geography Lesson Note

FCT's vegetation is a combination of natural and man-made elements.

Natural Vegetation: The natural vegetation in FCT primarily consists of the Guinea Savanna. You'll find a mix of grasslands and open woodlands, with various tree species like acacia and shea trees. This vegetation is adapted to the region's seasonal climate, with some areas turning lush green during the wet season and brown during the dry season.

Man-Made Vegetation: Given that the FCT is the administrative center of Nigeria, it has extensive urban areas with well-maintained lawns, gardens, and parks. The cityscape is characterized by tree-lined avenues and green spaces that contribute to a more pleasant urban environment.
