Customs: Traditions and practices that are passed down from generation to generation.
Language: The primary means of communication in a culture.
Values: The principles that people hold dear.
Development institutions
NGO: Non-governmental organization.
UNDP: United Nations Development Programme.
WB: World Bank.
IMF: International Monetary Fund.
UNDESA: United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs.
Ceremonies
Ritual: A set of actions that are performed in a specific order for a religious or cultural purpose.
Festival: A celebration of a particular event or person.
Wedding: A ceremony that marks the union of two people in marriage.
Funeral: A ceremony that marks the death of a person.
Initiation: A ceremony that marks a person's transition from one stage of life to another.
