Components of a Windows Desktop:

  1. Desktop Background: This is like the wallpaper for your computer. You can choose a picture you like to make your desktop look cool.
  2. Icons: Icons are like little pictures that represent programs or files. For example, there might be an icon for games, your homework, or the internet.
  3. Start Menu: This is your computer's menu button. Clicking on it opens up a list of all the programs and apps you have on your computer.
  4. Taskbar: The taskbar is at the bottom of the screen. It shows you which programs are currently open, like when you have a web browser or a game running.
  5. System Tray: This is at the bottom right corner. It shows small icons for things like the time, sound, and internet connection.
