WAEC 2019: Write an informal letter to your friend, describing your recent visit to a museum.
Dearest Phoebe,
I hope this letter finds you well. I'm writing to you today to tell you about my recent visit to the National Museum in Lagos.
I went to the museum with my family last weekend. We were all really excited to see the exhibits, and we weren't disappointed.
The museum is huge, and it has exhibits on all sorts of different topics, from ancient Egypt to Nigerian history. We spent hours wandering around, looking at all the different artifacts.
One of the highlights of our visit was seeing the mummy of Ramses II. He was the pharaoh of Egypt for over 60 years, and he was one of the most powerful rulers in Egyptian history. It was amazing to see his mummy in person, and it really brought history to life for me.
We also saw some really cool exhibits on Nigerian history. We learned about the different tribes that make up Nigeria, and we saw some amazing artifacts from different eras.
We had a wonderful time at the museum, and I'm so glad we decided to go. I learned a lot about Nigerian history and culture, and I saw some really amazing artifacts.
I hope you're doing well, and I'll write to you again soon.
Love,
Sophia.
