A machine has a velocity ratio of 4. if it requires 800 N to overcome a load of 1600 N,what is the efficiency of the machine?
A
60%
B
50%
C
40%
D
2%
correct option: b
Efficiency = (M.A)/V.R X (100)/1
But M.A = (Load)/Effort = (1600)/800 = 2
Efficiency = (2)/4 x (100)/1 = 50%
But M.A = (Load)/Effort = (1600)/800 = 2
Efficiency = (2)/4 x (100)/1 = 50%
