Simplify 16 frac 1 2 x 4 frac 1 2 x 27 frac 1 3 - JAMB Mathematics 2008 Question

Simplify 16\(\frac{1}{2}\) x 4\(\frac{1}{2}\) x 27\(\frac{1}{3}\)
A
\(\frac{3}{8}\)
B
\(\frac{2}{3}\)
C
\(\frac{3}{4}\)
D
\(\frac{3}{2}\)
correct option: a
Simplify 16\(\frac{1}{2}\) x 4\(\frac{1}{2}\) x 27\(\frac{1}{3}\)

= 16\(\frac{1}{2}\) x 4\(\frac{1}{2}\) x 27\(\frac{1}{3}\)

= \(\frac{1}{\sqrt{16}^1} \times \frac{1}{\sqrt{4}^1}\) x (3\(\sqrt{27}\))1

= \(\frac{1}{4}\) x \(\frac{1}{2}\) x \(\frac{3}{1}\)

= \(\frac{3}{8}\)
