= \(\frac{1 + tan^2x}{sec^2x}\)
= \(\frac{cos^2x}{cos^2x}\) x \(\frac{cos^2x sin^2x}{cos^2x cos^2x}\)
= \(\frac{1 + sin^2x}{cos^2x}\)
= \(\frac{1 + tan^2x}{sec^2x}\)
