Bepo chose Ibadan for his passport renewal because he knew that travelling to neighboring states like Ogun, Oyo, Osun, and Kwara would make the process faster due to fewer crowds compared to Lagos. He settled on Ibadan in Oyo State for this reason. This can be found on page 48 of the novel.
