You flip a fair coin three times. What is the probability of getting exactly two heads?

Total possible outcomes when flipping a coin three times = 2/3

= 8 outcomes (HHH, HHT, HTH, HTT, THH, THT, TTH, TTT).

Favorable outcomes (exactly two heads) = {HHT, HTH, THH} = 3 outcomes.

Probability = Number of favorable outcomes / Total outcomes = 3/8.
