One of the most important considerations during online registration for the NYSC is which states to choose. However, you don't just choose any state you like. Instead, you have to choose according to the NYSC zoning formula.
How to choose states during NYSC online registration
You will choose a maximum of four (4) states from different zones (see the zones below). Then, NYSC will post you to one of the states you choose.
However, note that there is no 100% guarantee that you will be posted to any of the four states you choose. Some candidates have been posted to states they didn't even select during there online registration.
With that said, here are the four groups of zones to choose from, ONE STATE from each:
