A report is a written document that provides information about a particular topic. Reports can be used to inform, persuade, or entertain.
There are many different types of reports, but they all have some common features. These features include:

Features of a scientific report: A scientific report is a written document that describes the process and results of a scientific investigation. Scientific reports are typically written in a formal style and follow a specific format.

Title: The title should be clear and concise and should accurately reflect the content of the report.
Abstract: The abstract is a brief summary of the report. It should be no more than 250 words long and should include the purpose of the investigation, the methods used, the results, and the conclusions.

Results: The results section should present the data collected in the investigation. The data should be presented in a clear and organized manner.
Discussion: The discussion section should interpret the results of the investigation. It should discuss the implications of the results and how they relate to previous research.
Conclusion: The conclusion should summarize the main points of the report and restate the conclusions. Scientific reports are an important part of the scientific process. They allow scientists to communicate their findings to others and to build on the work of others.
