Pronunciation: To produce the /l/ sound, place the tip of your tongue against the alveolar ridge (the bony ridge behind your upper front teeth) and let the air flow around the sides of your tongue.
Example words: lip, lot, light, long, lace, lead, reader, laid, lamb, loaf, loom, and loyal.
