Equipment used in volleyball includes:

  3.  Volleyball posts and antenna: The posts support the net, and the antenna defines the playing area and marks its borders.
  4.  Knee pads and uniforms: Players wear knee pads to protect themselves, as well as uniforms or sportswear to identify their team.
  5.  Volleyball shoes: Shoes built with a solid grip and support to help players move around the court.
  6.  Scoreboard and whistle: Officials keep track of the score on a scoreboard, and a whistle signals the start and end of plays.
