Equipment used in volleyball includes:
- Volleyball: A spherical ball with a circumference of 65-67 cm and a weight of 260-280 g.
- Volleyball net: A mesh-covered net supported by poles that divides the court into two equal portions.
- Volleyball posts and antenna: The posts support the net, and the antenna defines the playing area and marks its borders.
- Knee pads and uniforms: Players wear knee pads to protect themselves, as well as uniforms or sportswear to identify their team.
- Volleyball shoes: Shoes built with a solid grip and support to help players move around the court.
- Scoreboard and whistle: Officials keep track of the score on a scoreboard, and a whistle signals the start and end of plays.
