Non-communicable diseases (NCDs): These are health conditions that are not infectious and cannot be transmitted from person to person.
Sickle cell: A genetic disorder where red blood cells are misshapen, leading to pain, organ damage, and other complications.
Obesity: Characterized by excessive body fat accumulation, often due to unhealthy diet and lack of physical activity.
Asthma: A chronic respiratory condition causing inflammation and narrowing of the airways, leading to difficulty breathing.
Ache: Generalized term for various types of pain, such as headache or backache, often stemming from injury, inflammation, or other underlying conditions.
Boils: Skin infection caused by bacteria entering hair follicles or oil glands, resulting in painful, pus-filled lumps.
Cancer: Abnormal cell growth with the potential to invade or spread to other parts of the body, often leading to severe illness and death if not treated.
Hypertension: High blood pressure, a condition where the force of blood against artery walls is consistently too high, increasing the risk of heart disease, stroke, and other complications.
