Types of Sentences
A sentence is a group of words that contains a subject and a finite verb and expresses a complete thought. A sentence must begin with a capital letter and end with a full stop, question mark or exclamation mark. A sentence is a group of words that conveys a complete idea. It consists of a subject (who or what the sentence is about) and a finite verb (what the subject does or is). Every sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a punctuation mark such as a full stop, question mark, or exclamation mark.
