- Take measurements over close-fitting garments or under garments. Wear fkat shoes.
- For accurate measurements, let a friend/classmate take your body measurements for you.
- Measure accurately.
- Record each measurement as soon as it is made.
- Use a tape measure that does not stretch.
- Pull the tape so that it is snug but not too tight.
- Stand well when taking body measurements.
