Rules and Regulations in Volleyball - JSS1 Physical and Health Education Lesson Note

Volleyball has the following rules and regulations: 1. Each team has six players on the court at one time, three in the front row and three in the back.

 2. The game is played to 25 points, and each team must win by at least two points.

3. Each team has three hits to get the ball over the net.

4. The ball must not touch the ground within the court boundaries.

5. Players are not allowed to touch the net during play.

 6. Rotation rules require players to move positions on the court each time their team wins the serve.

7. The ball is considered "in" if it lands on the boundary lines.

8. A point is scored on every serve, regardless of which team serves.

9. Substitutions are allowed, but players must rotate back into their starting positions.

10. Illegal hits, double touches, and foot faults are all penalized. These rules and regulations ensure that volleyball matches are fair and competitive.
