Speech work : Introduction - SS2 English Lesson Note

Speech work is an important part of English language because it helps us to develop our oral communication skills. These skills are  essential for success in school, in the workplace, and in life.

There are many different aspects of speech work, including:

• Pronunciation: This is the ability to produce the sounds of the English language correctly.
• Vocabulary: This is the ability to use a wide range of words in your speech.
• Grammar: This is the ability to use the rules of grammar correctly.
• Fluency: This is the ability to speak smoothly and without hesitation.
• Confidence: This is the ability to speak clearly and confidently in front of others.

All of these aspects of speech work are important for effective communication. When we can pronounce words correctly, use a wide range of vocabulary, use grammar correctly, speak fluently, and speak with confidence, we are able to communicate our ideas clearly and effectively.
