Transplanting - JSS2 Agricultural science Lesson Note

Transplanting is a planting method where seedlings are first grown in a separate nursery and then transplanted into the main field. This approach is preferred for crops with delicate seedlings or those that require specific environmental conditions for successful germination. The seedlings, once they reach a suitable size and maturity in the nursery, are carefully uprooted and transferred to the main field for further growth.
