Types of communication - SS1 Commerce Lesson Note

·         Oral Communication: This type of communication involves the exchange of information through spoken words. It includes face-to-face conversations, telephone conversations, meetings, presentations, and discussions. Oral communication allows for immediate feedback and clarification.

·         Written Communication: Written communication involves the use of written words to convey information. It includes emails, letters, memos, reports, contracts, and documentation. Written communication provides a permanent record and allows for precise and detailed expression.

·         Visual Communication: Visual communication utilizes visual elements such as images, charts, graphs, diagrams, and videos to convey information. It is an effective way to present data, illustrate concepts, and communicate complex ideas in a visual format.

·         Non-verbal Communication: Non-verbal communication refers to the transmission of messages without the use of words. It includes body language, facial expressions, gestures, posture, and tone of voice. Non-verbal cues often convey emotions, attitudes, and intentions, complementing or contradicting the verbal message.
