Types of Diseases - JSS1 Physical and Health Education Lesson Note

Infectious Diseases: Caused by pathogens and can spread from person to person.

Examples: Influenza, tuberculosis, malaria.

 

Non-infectious Diseases: Not caused by pathogens and cannot spread from person to person.

Examples: Diabetes, cancer, heart disease.
