Types of Pronouns - SS2 English Lesson Note
Here are the other types of pronouns, with examples and sentences:
-
Demonstrative pronouns point out specific people, places, or things. They are often used with adjectives to give more information about the noun they are referring to. Examples: this, that, these, those.
Indefinite pronouns refer to people or things in a general way. They do not refer to any specific person or thing. Examples: anyone, everybody, everything, some, few, many.
Relative pronouns introduce clauses that modify nouns or pronouns. They are used to connect clauses and to provide more information about the noun they refer to. Examples: who, whom, whose, which, that.
Reciprocal pronouns refer to two people or things that do something to each other. They are always used in pairs. Examples: each other, one another.
Interrogative pronouns are used to ask questions. They are often used with verbs like "who," "what," "where," "when," and "why." Examples: who, what, where, when, why.
