The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that the 2025 Direct Entry (DE) registration will officially begin today, Wednesday, March 12, 2025. DE registration is for candidates with degrees, diplomas, or A-Level certificates who wish to gain admission into universities of their choice via JAMB.
This announcement comes after the successful completion of UTME registration, which ended on Saturday, March 8, 2025, which according to JAMB, recorded over 2 million UTME registrations, as well as over 200 thousand Mock-UTME applications.
JAMB Direct Entry Requirements & Verification
JAMB has emphasised that all applicants must meet the necessary entry requirements as any false declaration will lead to severe penalties, including prosecution. A special verification committee has been set up to review all Advanced A-Level qualifications, ensuring that no fraudulent results are used. Additionally, universities are encouraged to directly verify candidates' certificates before granting admissions.
Where to Register For 2025 JAMB DE
Registration for the Direct Entry (DE) application can only be done at JAMB Professional Registration Centres (PRC) across the country.
