NDU shutdown following students' protest

Following students unrest, academic activities have been halted in Niger Delta University. Consequently, all students have been asked to vacate the school. The protest is linked to hike in school fees has resulted to this unfortunate situation, both for the students and the entire school. From the Committee of Provost and Deans (CPD) at its 110th meeting (emergency) held on Friday, April 20, 2018, which discussed the "incessant protests and the unruly behavior of students on campus", the school authority has shutdown NDU for the mean time. All students of Niger Delta University were therefore asked to vacate the university community before 4:00 PM, Wednesday, April 25, 2018.
