Oyo state cancels midterm break for public & private schools

Yesterday, Oyo state government cancelled midterm holidays for schools across the state. The state governor said that the cancellation of holidays became necessary due to covid-19 lockdown that affected academic activities nationwide. According to the state commissioner for education, science and technology, the decision for cancellation was the reached at an education stakeholders meeting held on Wednesday.
