Reach Oxford Scholarships (formerly Oxford Student Scholarships) is a scholarship by Oxford University. 

It is an international scholarship offered to students from low-income countries who, for political or financial reasons. Or because suitable educational facilities do not exist, cannot study for a degree in their own countries.

The scholarship is only for undergraduates who are freshers. You can apply for any course of your choice except Medicine. 

The scholarship covers the duration of the course you want to study, course fees, a grant for living costs, and one return air fare per year.

Reach Oxford Scholarship Requirements

(a) You should note you must apply for admission to the University for consideration for the Reach Oxford Scholarship. 

(b) You must apply to the University of Oxford for an undergraduate course through UCAS by 15 October 2021 and be successful in gaining a place.

(c) Applicants should be aware that competition for the scheme is very high. But the University does not have additional funding for candidates who are not qualified for the scholarship.

2. Global Korea Summer Scholarship 

Here is another international scholarship offered by the Global Korea Summer Scholarship to students from Africa and Latin America. 

This scholarship program is designed for African and Latin American students to receive in-depth academic training. 

The scholarship opportunity is just for 80 winners (40 from Africa and 40 from Latin America). 

The scholarship program is for candidates currently studying in an academic field such as Computer Engineering, Game Engineering or Digital Design.

Eligibility For The Scholarship 

(a) You must be a citizen of an African or Latin American country

(b) You must enrol as an undergraduate student in the second to the fourth year at a university/college located in an African or Latin American country.

3. Bilateral Education Agreement Scholarships

The Bilateral Education Agreements Scholarship is a scholarship award between the Federal Government of Nigeria and the Governments of Countries that have signed the Bilateral Education Agreement (BEA) with Nigeria.

The countries with Bilateral Education Agreements (BEA) with Nigeria are Algeria, China, Cuba, Egypt, Hungary, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Romania, Russia, Serbia, South Korea, Tunisia, Turkey, and Ukraine.

The scholarship awards are for leading students to first degrees, Master’s and PhD studies.

BEA Scholarship Requirements

For the Undergraduates scholarship, all applicants must possess a minimum of seven (7) distinctions (A’s and B’s) in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE). 

Your certificate should have relevant subjects in your field of study, including Mathematics and English Language. 

Moreso, for non-African countries, the certificate should not be more than two (2) years old. For African countries, the age of the certificate is one year. 

The age limit for the scholarship is between 17-20 years. If you are older than 20 years, the scholarship is not for you. 

For the Postgraduates scholarship, all applicants must have a First Degree with 1st Class or at least 2nd Class Upper Division.

Also, you must have completed your NYSC Programme. The age limit is 35 years for Masters and 40 years for PhD.
