15 Scrapped polytechnic courses in Nigeria

Following the new rule by the federal government of Nigeria, through the resolution reached by the Federal Executive Council, quite a number of courses offered at the polytechnics in Nigeria will be scrapped. Recall that earlier the Nigerian government scrapped HND programs and non-tech courses offered by polytechnics. As a result of this new policy, the following courses (programs) may not be obtainable in Nigerian polytechnics as soon as the new policy takes effect:

4. Home and Rural Economics
5. Insurance
6. Marketing
7. Nutrition And Dietetic
8. Secretariat studies
9. Accounting
10. Hospitality Management
11. Public Administration
12. 7. Estate Management
13. Wildlife And Eco-Tourism
14. Fishery
15. Leisure And Tourism Management

We're expecting that the affected courses will be more than just 15 though.
