Only 157,000 candidates sat for JAMB Mock exam 2019, JAMB officials attacked

 /JAMB
Latest JAMB reports show that only 157,000 candidates (out of over 1 million registered) sat for the UTME mock exam 2019. Also, some JAMB officials were nearly set ablaze at the mock exam center, JAMB bans 14 CBT centers. Is this an indication that JAMB candidates don't take the mock exam serious or they think it is not necessary? For a free mock exam, the expectations are that many JAMBites will seize the opportunity to prepare for the main exam. Recall that the score candidates get in the mock doesn't count in their admission process.

JAMB delists 14 CBT centers

Meanwhile, JAMB boss, Mr Oloyede said the board had delisted 14 CBT centres due to technical hitches and other issues. He said, “The centres which went to borrow computers for the exams have been stopped. We now have about 698 centres left.”

And in the other news, JAMB has confirmed attack (by yet to be identified person) on two of her officials sent to Lagos State Polytechnic in Lagos State. Confirming this, the JAMB registrar said: “The very first sad thing that we noticed was that two of our workers were almost murdered in Lagos. There was an attempt on their lives around the Lagos State Polytechnic. For whatever reason, they poured petrol on them and were about to set them ablaze." We hope this JAMB exam goes with no sad stories...
